2020: The Year of Gratitude

It’s safe to say we’ll all be glad to say goodbye to 2020 👋 Whether you feel tougher for it, or you’re barely hanging on, you’re here and you’re doing GREAT! As hard as it’s been, it’s also been transformative for our team - it’s taught us new lessons and shaped us into new people.

We asked these Bears what they learned this year, what they’re most grateful for, and what they’re looking forward to in 2021. Here’s what they had to say -

What did you learn in 2020?

Tony

I learned that quality, involved, and compassionate leadership is more important than ever.

Tiffany

2020 taught me a great deal about patience, letting go of things you can't control, and a deeper appreciation for my relationships with family and friends. It also gave me an opportunity to pick up a few new skills and try out some new hobbies. I learned how to play the drums, cross stitch and how to cut my husband's hair.

Lacey

The value of toilet paper 😜I think this year taught me to slow down and enjoy moments with the people in your life who matter most. It’s also pushed me outside of my comfort zone and forced me to grow, in both my independence and mental resilience.

What are you looking forward to in 2021?

Tammy

I am looking forward to more growth in all aspects of life. Personal growth, growth in relationships, growth in experiences. (And being able to celebrate my July birthday in public!)

Rachel

Hopefully some open borders. I'm ready to travel internationally again, but at the very least I have a few awesome American road trips planned next year with lots of camping and social distancing until society is safe to re-enter.

Tyra

I'm looking forward to seeing how much progress we make as a company. I'm also looking forward to progressing with my own creative projects and living back in Atlanta!

What are you grateful for right now?

Jordan

I'm beyond grateful for my friends who make our long distance relationships a priority. This year would have been exponentially more difficult without their love and support.

Starla

I’m most grateful for my health, marriage, consistent income, family, friends, and new home. I praise God daily for my many blessings.
