BACKGROUND & TASK:

The client holds an annual event to treat military members to a free meal.

We were tasked with launching an interactive campaign that raises awareness of their annual philanthropic event, amplifies their digital presence, and increases social engagement.

THE SOLUTION:

A user-generated photo contest that prompts fans to submit a picture of their military hero via a designated hashtag or online entry form, for the chance to win a year of free dining at their restaurant. Upon entry, fans are prompted to share their submission with friends and family to gain votes for their military hero. The entry with the most votes at the end of the contest period wins.

Using campaign hosting software that met both the client’s technical and legal requirements, we built an interactive landing page that displayed all entries and allowed users to vote and engage. The digital dashboard allowed for us to manage and interact with entries, as well as measure real-time performance data and analytics.

THE RESULT:

The client was so thrilled with fan participation and the overall outcome, that it became an annual campaign leading up their in-store event.

From 2017 to 2018 the campaign saw an across the board increase in:

  • 44.8% increase in Page Visitors

  • 63% increase in Clicks

  • 37% increase in Contest Entries

  • 118% increase in user Votes
